High-end jewellery retailer, Tiffany, has announced plans to launch a new store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The company, which is renowned for its quality jewellery, including a wide range of platinum goods, is preparing to open the new boutique at the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, a luxury retail centre.

Tiffany has stated that the new store will be opened in September and will offer a wide variety of jewellery, including much of the retailer's signature items in platinum.

Welcoming the new store, Barbara Lim, Director of Tiffany & Co Malaysia, said: "Our prime location offers everyone convenient access to our celebrated designs and superior service."

Tiffany already operates a store in Kuala Lumpur's city centre and this will be the jeweller's second boutique in the Malaysian capital.

In May, Tiffany announced that it was opening a boutique in Japan that would be exclusively for men. The boutique, on the first floor of the renovated Isetan Department Store in Shinjuku, demonstrates the retailer's continued expansion across the globe.
