Tiffany to open in Heathrow T5 15th February 2007
Tiffany & Co is to open a boutique in Heathrow Airport's new Terminal 5.
The 150-square metre store will be Tiffany & Co's fifth boutique in London and its design will take inspiration from the firm's flagship store in New York.
The decor will include ebonised Makore and mahogany woods and brushed stainless steel showcases. Entrances will be widened to accommodate customers in the airport with baggage and the boutique and will offer a private sales salon.
Collections that will be sold by the jeweller include diamonds in platinum and eighteen-karat gold settings, fine and fashion jewellery, watches and a selection of silver gifts.
Melvyn Kirtley, president of Tiffany & Co UK, said: "Terminal 5's spacious and streamlined design, with many amenities to enhance the travel experience, is ideal for a Tiffany & Co boutique.
"We look forward to welcoming travellers and providing them with the quality, craftsmanship and outstanding customer service for which Tiffany is renowned."
The firm's current four UK boutiques - all in London -are located in Harrods, the Royal Exchange, on Sloane Street and Old Bond Street.
