Russia 'may export last 9 T palladium' 17th October 2011
Russia may export the last nine tonnes (289,000oz) of palladium it has in existing stocks in 2012 and 2013, according to reports.
A Finance Ministry source connected to state precious metals and gems repository Gokhran told Interfax that Russia could sell around 4.5 metric tonnes next year and the same amount the year after.
The country would then halt palladium sales, the source indicated.
Russian state stockpiles sales of over 31 ts palladium was the fourth biggest supply of the metal last year.
