Platinum Guild International announces Gone Platinum winners 17th July 2007

The Platinum Guild International (PGI) has awarded three companies with the Gone Platinum Award for their work in stimulating demand for platinum jewellery.

The three firms, which are all members of the Preferred Platinum Partner Program, (4P) were chosen by a panel having first been nominated by leading figures in the industry.

Martin Flyer of New York picked up the award for outstanding achievement by a manufacturer in recognition of over sixty years of stunningly designed platinum jewellery.

M J Christensen Diamond Centre in Las Vegas sealed the prize for outstanding achievement by a retailer thanks to its exceptional sales of platinum pieces.

Meanwhile, Diane Giles, a sales associate with Mervis Diamond Importers in Washington DC, was given the award for outstanding platinum sales.

PGI USA President Huw Daniel told JCK Online: "It's an honour to award our 4P partners for their outstanding work to increase platinum awareness and desire among consumers over the past year. These efforts have helped turn the desire for platinum into bottom line sales and have increased dollar profits for both the retailers and manufacturers."
