Platinum Group International (PGI) has launched its 2008 Bridal Collection featuring platinum pair-rings.

Ten platinum pair-rings in plain platinum and seven pair-rings in platinum set with diamonds are included in the new collection.

The Eternal Commitment range is the core of the new collection and features purely platinum pair-rings while the Love Infinity models combine platinum and gem stones.

A diamond set in a platinum ring with symmetrical design is the main feature of the Guardian range while Love Rhyme features symmetrical arcs on the surface of the pair-rings in matt and semi-glossy textured platinum.

PGI Chief Executive Officer, James Courage, said: "Based on previous surveys conducted by PGI, more than 80 per cent of Chinese consumers choose platinum pair-rings as their wedding rings."

Some of the rings have been exclusively designed for a "comfort fit" to curve the rings and make them comfortable to wear.

The new collection is themed by the "two people, one world" designs.
