Pan Palladium to open platinum mine in South Africa 6th April 2011

Pan Palladium South Africa has plans for a new open-pit platinum group metals (pgm) mine in South Africa, Bloomberg has reported.

The site of the mine, which will be dug in a joint venture with a proposed company called Volspruit Mining, lies in the north of the country, near Mokopane in Limpopo Province.

According to the news provider, the announcement appeared today (06/04/11) in the Johannesburg newspaper Business Day and was published by environmental consultant firm EScience Associates.

Pan Palladium engages in the mining and exploration of pgm in the Bushveld Complex of South Africa, the largest platinum reserve in the world.
