North American Palladium sees increased production 10th August 2007

North American Palladium has announced that it increased production of palladium and by-product metals during the second quarter of 2007.

The company produced 66,651 oz of palladium during the second quarter, which was almost 10,000 oz more than in the same period last year.

The increased production figures during the first six months of the year helped North American Palladium to post substantial increases in revenue, with by-product metal revenue growing by 70 per cent compared to the previous year.

"I am pleased to see continued strengthening in our operations and expect to see continued improvements this year," said Jim Excell, President and Chief Executive Officer of North American Palladium.

Looking to the future, he added: "With a new management team in place, consistency in operations and a good pipeline of projects, I believe that North America Palladium is well positioned to benefit and expand its base of existing cash generating properties."
