Norilsk could reveal PGM data in May 11th March 2005

Norilsk Nickel has said that it has no date for an announcement on its pgm resources.

The company said that it would publish its pgm production, sales and stocks ahead of its annual general meeting in May.

But speaking to the Reuters news agency, Norilsk deputy director general Denis Morozov, said there was "no fixed timetable" for a resources declaration.

"We hope that we will be able to publish volumes of (pgms) production and sales and stocks in a report prepared for the annual general meeting, which may happen no earlier than by the end of May," Mr Morozov said.

"The disclosure of volumes of resources will depend on the results of their audit. We are only starting this work."

Norilsk is the world's leading producer of palladium.track
