New vice president for North American Palladium 26th January 2007
North American Palladium has announced the appointment of Reno Pressacco as its new Vice President of Exploration and Development.
He takes over from current incumbent, Bruce Mackie, who has decided to pursue other interests, although he will be staying on for the time being to assist in a smooth transition.
Jim Excell, President and Chief Executive of North American Palladium, welcomed Mr Pressacco to the company, commenting: "We look forward to welcoming Reno to our senior management team. His experience and enthusiasm are well suited to an exciting expansion agenda in Canada and Finland."
Mr Pressacco has 20 years' experience in the mineral exploration and mine development sectors, working in a variety of geological environments.
He has also worked for a number of companies, in northern Ontario and Quebec, conducting exploration programs and economic evaluations for firms such as Placer Dome Canada, Agnico-Eagle and Royal Oak Mines.
