Singer and actor Justin Timberlake has been browsing the shops searching for a platinum ring for his latest love, Jessica Biel.

It has been reported that the star is not yet looking for an engagement ring, but is searching for a promise ring in an effort to make a commitment to the Illusionist star.

Life and Style Magazine reports that the former N'Sync singer has been looking at platinum rings with diamonds and sapphires at a number of boutiques in Santa Monica.

Among the stores the Timberlake has been searching is Neil Lane's Santa Monica outlet, where he should be able to find the perfect platinum gift given the proprietor's notoriety with the precious metal.

Many high-profile celebrities are choosing to wear platinum, whether to show off their love or when on the red carpet at premieres and awards ceremonies.
