Johnson Matthey to offer emissions advice at trade show 7th March 2007

Johnson Matthey's presence at an industry expo will be augmented by a clinic dispensing advice to companies about new emissions regulations.

The "compliance clinic" at Bauma 2007, which is the largest trade fair in the world, will offer informed advice to attendees facing challenges to comply with new legislation to limit emissions, such as Tier 4.

It is anticipated that engine manufacturers and dealers will be especially interested in the advice, not least because of new regulations that enforce the use of catalytic converters in new ships and trains as well as the conversion of older vehicles.

Commenting on Johnson Matthey's credentials as a source of advice, non-road product manager Joe Stevenson said: "Because we have more than thirty years experience in the technology, the applications and the market, we are ideally placed to explain the regulations as well as provide catalysts and systems to enable compliance.

"Bauma is an excellent forum for providing engine and equipment manufacturers, dealers, owners and operators with sound advice on their options for meeting the new standards," he added.

Visitors to Bauma, where 3,000 exhibitors from 48 countries are expected, will be able to drop into the clinic between April 23rd to 29th.
