Johnson Matthey is to co-sponsor the Society of Automobile Engineer's (SAE) 5th Heavy Duty Diesel Emissions Symposium - a global event dedicated to examining how emissions can be reduced.

Set to take place between the 10th and 12th of September at the Gothenburg Convention Centre, the three-day expo will be attended by a worldwide team of experts who will gather to examine the effect of impending regulations and the challenges that complying with these present.

Meanwhile, further discussion will focus on emissions control strategies from a global perspective and will also consider non-road applications in construction and agriculture as well as the health effects that the legislation may bring about.

Companies set to be present at the show include AVL MTC AB, Cambustion Corning Inc, ExIS AB, KZ Handels AB and Notox A/S.

Volvo and Corning are the event's other sponsors.
