During February, leading jewellery retailer Joyalukkas launched a special new platinum pendant in the Middle East ahead of Valentine's Day.
The piece, which formed part of the romantic BeMine collection and retailed at around £217, was described by company Chairman Joy Alukkas as "something truly precious and memorable".

Aurora Pens may have launched the world's most expensive pen, costing a whopping £917,000, Luxist.com reports.
The Aurora Diamante contains over 30 carats of De Beers diamonds on a solid platinum barrel which has a two-tone, rhodium-treated, 18-carat gold nib.
The pen, which can be customised with a coat of arms, signature or portrait, is believed to be more expensive than the Van Cleef & Arpels Mystery pen.
