Japanese vehicle exports on the rise 31st March 2003
Japan's vehicle exports have risen by almost five per cent since last year according to the latest figures.
Statistics released by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) show that output rose 4.7 per cent in February, standing at 394,050 vehicles.
In dollars the vehicle exports for February were up 9.6 per cent from a year ago.
Sales rose from $7.23 billion to $7.92 billion according to JAMA.
