Fuel cells to be demonstrated in London 23rd August 2005
A major conference on fuel cells is to be held in London, and will include live demonstrations of the latest advancements in fuel cell technology.
The largest ever gathering of fuel cell demonstrations will take place at the Ninth Grove Fuel Cell Symposium in London from October 4th to 6th.
And as part of the conference, some of London's most famous landmarks will host the demonstrations, in an effort to promote the technology to the public at large.
On the first day of the Symposium, visitors to Trafalgar Square will be able to see an extensive range of vehicles powered by fuel cell technology, as well as smaller items that also utilise fuel cell technology.
Stationary and portable fuel cell devices will be on show in a large inflatable marquee in the shadow of Nelson's Column, and thousands of visitors and tourists will be able to learn more about fuel cell technology and its uses.
Over the following three days, additional demonstrations will take place outside the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Central London, where the conference itself is being held.
