Four Citaro FuelCELL Hybrid Buses Begin Service in Hamburg (22/08/11)
Four Mercedes-Benz Citaro FuelCELL Hybrid buses are to be rolled out across Hamburg's public transport network.
The buses have been bought by the city's transit agency Hamburger Hochbahn AG under the German NaBuz scheme, and a further three will be delivered next year.

California Energy Commission Refines
Far-Reaching Green Transportation Energy Plan (08/09/11)
The California Energy Commission has adopted the state's third annual transportation energy Investment Plan, which will see $8.5 million allocated to support hydrogen fuelling stations and to demonstrate fuel cell technology.
Fuel cell vehicles are expected to number in the tens of thousands in California after 2015, the commission said.
Energy Commission vice chair James Boyd said the funding plan "builds on two earlier versions, fine-tuning California's seven-year programme to increase alternative and renewable fuels and to test innovative vehicle technologies".
f-cell 2011: Electrically mobile with fuel cells and batteries (09/09/11)
Vehicle manufacturers will report on their plans for fuel cell technology at the upcoming f-cell forum in Stuttgart on September 26th and 27th.
The event will also highlight the latest progress in the use of fuel cells in portable devices, stationary applications for household energy or emergency power supplies, as well as on hydrogen manufacturing, infrastructure, and storage, organisers say.
Daimler, for example, will explain how it plans to set up 20 hydrogen filling stations in Germany from 2012 and its goal of placing fuel cell vehicles on the open market by 2014.
Daimler Aims to Expand Fuel Cell Partnerships By The End of 2011 (13/09/11)
Daimler is looking to expand fuel cell partnerships beyond its current work with Ford, the car maker's development chief Thomas Weber said.
He explained that Daimler is in talks with automakers as well as other firms that could help establish a hydrogen fuel station network.
Daimler also plans upping production of its B-Class F-Cell vehicles to 10,000 with a second-generation planned for 2017, Weber added.
