Dow Corning emulsion improves platinum catalyst efficiency 15th August 2007

Dow Corning has announced the introduction of a new emulsion coating that is designed to deliver an improvement in the performance of platinum catalysts.

The firm is launching its emulsion release coating, which it claims will help users to cut their application costs by improving the efficiency of platinum catalysts and also reduces coat weight.

According to Dow Corning, the new coating offers "outstanding coverage", allowing for the use of less costly base papers.

The firm is to showcase its latest product at the Labelexpo Europe event at the Brussels Exhibition Centre from September 26th to 29th this year.

This latest offering adds to Dow Corning's Advantage Series solventless line to emulsion release coating operations.
