Date confirmed for fuel cell expo 13th December 2007
The Fuel Cells Science and Technology 2008 conference is to take place in Copenhagen on October 8th and 9th next year, organiser Elsevier has confirmed.
The event, which is the fourth in the series, will be held at the Confederation of Danish Industries and is expected to be attended by delegates from fuel cell and clean technology companies from around the globe.
Among the key themes to be addressed by speakers are membrane science, fuel processing materials, science cell and stack technology systems and applications modelling fuels for fuel cells.
A release from Elsevier, a publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products, said the expo comes at a time when fuel cells are fast entering the mass market worldwide.
"With the recent appearance of the new Honda FCX Clarity on the popular UK BBC show TopGear and BMW manufacturing 100 hydrogen powered 7-Series cars, it is evident that fuel cells are emerging onto the consumer market.
"The popularity of alternative, greener cars is certainly apparent in California too, where governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is planning to build a string of hydrogen filling stations along the Pacific coast of the US, dubbed 'hydrogen highway'."
