Anglo American Platinum announced today that the much-awaited update on its expansion plans is likely to be made in the last week of November.

Spokesman Mike Mtakati told Reuters that no firm date had been set, but 'at the latest, it would be in the first week of December', he said.

As the world's largest producer of the precious metal, AngloPlats's expansion plans are of considerable interest to the industry.
