Leading national jeweller Tanishq, for instance, has introduced its new 'Ganesh Chathurthi' collection, which is a range of exquisite platinum Ganesha pendants. The impressive collection starts at a price of 10,000 rupees and is being sold in all the company's boutiques across the country. A Tanishq spokesman commented: "The demand for the collection has taken off well and we have started witnessing 20% rise in sales, as compared to the targeted 35% for the entire festival period."
