A new store that has an entire floor dedicated to platinum and diamond jewellery has been opened in Chennai, India.

The Joyalukkas jewellery store allows shoppers to choose from an enormous range of platinum and diamond jewellery designs, including necklaces, rings, ear rings, bracelets and more.

Measuring over 70,000 square-feet, the store offers over a million designs with jewellers from India, Bahrain, Turkey, Singapore and Italy all contributing.

Announcing the opening of the show room, Mr Joy Alukkas, Chairman of the Alukkas Group, said: "The unique concept and design of the store has been developed by keeping in mind our customers, by showcasing over a million designs which cater to the needs of every single consumer who enters the store.

"The opening of this showroom is the realisation of a vision that started when the Group was formed in 1956," he added.

As well as operating in jewellery, the Group now has operations in fashion, information technology, media, money exchange and gold trading.
