20th Canadian Symposium on Catalysis - Ontario, Canada 15th June 2008 to 18th June 2008
"Clean Air, Climate Change and Catalysis"
The Canadian Symposium on Catalysis is held biannually. Canadian and international researchers from all areas of catalysis are equally welcome to attend. The object of the meeting is to showcase the recent achievements, promote the exchange of ideas and stimulate new developments in all fields of catalysis. The symposium will also focus on encouraging the exchange of knowledge between researchers from heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis. The common theme will be how catalysis can address issues of air quality and greenhouse gas emissions through improved efficiency and selectivity. Papers from all areas of catalysis research are invited.Topical areas that have been chosen for additional focus include:
Fuel Cell Catalysis
Transition Metal Catalysis
Catalysis for Biomass Utilisation
Computational Modelling of Catalytic Processes
Catalysis for Cleaner Energy
Catalysis for Green Chemistry
