To keep the growing number of pgm related stories in our Media Room in a user friendly and easy to search format, Platinum Today has reshaped its News Room.

Since March, Platinum Today has been building an unrivalled library of news stories related to the pgm.  With fresh stories added daily, this facility will continue to grow into a significant information resource for anyone interested in these metals and markets.

To ensure our users can make the most of this facility, Platinum Today has introduced a new category system in the News Room.  Within the Current News section, All Current News carries all stories posted in the last 30 days.  This is now complimented by nine new current categories, which reflect the major sectors of the pgm markets.  Stories appearing in All Current News are also logged in one of these categories, so that related stories can be viewed together.  The 9 categories added are

• Production - South Africa
• Production - Russian & Other 
• Automotive
• Jewellery
• Medical
• Industrial
• Recycling
• Trading
• Miscellaneous

This categorisation has also been adopted in the News Archive, where stories older than 30 days can be found. Navigation between the current and archive categories is easy with section links at all levels.
